Jim Lawrence
Hello! Welcome to my web page. I grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY, and came to Ithaca, NY in 1973 to go to Ithaca College. I played on the Freshman Soccer Team, 3 seasons on the Golf Team, and was Assistant Coach for Men's Gymnastics for two years. I graduated in 1977, (Cinema Studies & Photography, with a Still Photography Emphasis) and like it so much here that I stayed. Ithaca (map) is a beautiful town with all the culture of a big city in a small-town environment. Having Cornell University and Ithaca College here creates a wonderful, educational, exciting environment. After playing music in various bands in the area, I started working at Cornell in 1979. I now have 2 wonderful children and live with them and the love of my life, (wife) Carol. We go sailing on Cayuga Lake each summer, and enjoy visiting the many parks nearby. Below are many of my favorite things ... enjoy!
