The Kinetics ... 1985-1991

Lee Heffron

Jim Lawrence

The Kinetics were formed by Lee Heffron and Jim Lawrence in 1985.
Jim had just left The Choice, and met Lee through a mutual recording project. They both have played in local bands over the last 13 years, and expessed an interest in playing songs in the modern alternative rock vein.
Initially, they could not find a drummer, and played as a 3-piece band (Bass, Guitar, Keys) with Steve Edgar on guitar, and used a drum machine for live gigs.
