Fender 1976 American Mustang Bass (sunburst) Serial #7606962

Short-scale bass. Same model as Bill Wyman of The Rolling Stones used. This bass has an awesome tone.  It's road-weary, but sounds fantastic.  All original electronics.

30" scale, maple bolt-on neck w/ rosewood fringerboard and a single split pickup, one volume and one tone control, with string-thru body. made in USA.  1 thumbrest moved to other side. Neck is nice and straight, frets good, all electronics work like new. Some people pay big $$ for the new 'roadworn' models - this is truly worn nicely with some dings and wear on the back, but it just adds to the charm. Only thing seems to be missing is the bridge cover.

The bass player from The Robert Cray Band ended up buying it last!
